I made my first purchase on Infibeam on 7’the sept 2011 -ORDER NO.8227338( and I have no reason to be beaming) after going thro the reviews on mouthshut and several other forums . Surprisingly, I found one common line in most of ’em. and that is ’ it nevva gets delieverd on time".
Nevertheless I went ahead and made the order, but chose the ’cash on delivery ’ option. That way atleast I dont pay in advance :D . They had mentioned that the philips dvp 3330 DVD player that I had ordered will be delivered by the 23’rd. But it nevva reached me. Anyway, I dint call ’em up or anything as it was ’CASH ON DELIVERY’ (which wud mean no headaches :D) until today ie.1’st oct.
Initially they had called me up and told me that they wud’nt be able to deliver the product to the place where I stay as it was’nt ’serviceable’ by their courier guys, when I got no such notice on their website when I ordered...OK..FINE!... I gave them an alternate adress in Thrissur city(the nearest city)which is by every means ’serviceable’. Now, the courier guy ( BLUE DART)calls me yesterday on my cell.........I hung up telling him that I will call him right back..and I did literally call him back in a minutes time!..But..the twist is here...THESE GUYS WUD NEVER PICK UP MY CALL!!! (i rang them up like 30 times all thro the day and on sum tries I cud even hear the engaged tone). Now, today a girl ( wid a sweet voice incidentally) calls me up from BLUEDART office in delhi and tells me that they CAN’T LOCATE THE ADRESS I HAD GIVEN THEM and it’s been 3 days ( whereas I received a call only once yesterday)!!..WHEN THERE IS NO CHANCE THAT SUMONE CUD MISS AN APARTMENT THAT BIG RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF THE CITY!!!! What’s going on nowwwww!!!!
Anyhow, I have given ’em ( INfibeam) a deadline...come MONDAY ie.3 october and if I dont still get it.. the order stands irrevocably cancelled. Will u let u guys know whether its gonna get delieverd in one piece or not. Lemme tell u all a lil secret ..’cash on delivery’..that is the mantra..choose it wherever u can No tensions that way!! ;-)
