I purchased a philips micro hifi system from infibeam (ID: 9213859), impressed with their assuring 30 days replacement guarantee in case of defective products. This was a gift for a family member which was delivered to me on 27th of August. The gift was opened on 6th September to realisation that one of the speakers do not work.I immediately informed their customer care who first tried to tell me atupid thing that the guarantee period was only 72hrs for Philips. If it was so then why did they advertise 30 days. When I protested his bluff, he said that they will pick up my system in 3 days and then deliver a new one. since then, I have called many times and every time they tell me that there is no replacement request in their system and ask me to contact Philips.
When I insist, they take my request of replacement and promise to process my request in a day which never happens. And next time again they will repeat the same thing. There is no response to my emails to customer care either except for a standard response that we will get back to you shortly.Their response to this review has been the same hollow. The gift has been perfectly spoiled thanks to a cheat of a retailer I trusted on believing their false promises.
30 days replacement crap. This company is absolute cheat and i am planning to take legal action against them...
