I bought a sony home theatre system for 20k from Infibeam because it was cheaper than flipkart that my first mistake. Since I will not be home due to office. I paid through net banking that was my 2nd mistake...
3 days after the payment, I received mail from customer service asking for tD proof and I immediately called Customer service and they said bank statement showing payment for Infibeam is enough so I have sent them the screenshot of my bank account and May 19th is supposed to be the shipment date. I have already asked and even in the remarks mentioned that May 18th is my sisters marriage day and I want to give this as a gift but they said it will ship by 19th but on 20th I received same mail asking for the proofs again. When I called Customer service the lady said rudely. She sent many mails and made so many calls and I didnt reply. I got 1 mail for which I replied and now I got the second mail for which I have called and now she says she needs passport or some other proof.
I asked for a escalation mail id or phone no. She was dumbstruck to hear the word escalation and as a parrot she is repeating the cusotmer service mail id. What kind of service doesnt have escalation? This was my first buy at Infibeam and this is my last. Of course I just eagerly waiting for my home theatre to be shipped first not to lose 20k.
