About The Author: Dr Robert Bino Cialdini is the regents professor emeritus of psychology and marketing at Arizona State University. He has graduated studies in social psychology and has on his PhD from the University of North Carolina. His best work is a 95 in 1984 book which was on preservation and marketing influence the psychology of persuasion. is based on three undercover years of a planning and training and used car dealerships fundraising organisations and telemarketing firms to observe real life situations of persuasion he says that influence is based on 6 key principles. Hello in 2016 he has proposed a seventh principle and he calls it to unity principle.


Talk to Robert cialdini has been awarded by the owner of psychological research the demonstrate social relevance using field methods by the society of personality and social psychology. He is also an elected member of National academy of sciences in April 2019.

The Book is National international best seller. In this book the author explains the psychology of why people say yes and how to apply these principles ethically in business and everyday situations it is psychology of persuasion in a seminal expert field.


He has described the six universal principles of influencing and how to use them to become a stilt persuader and how to defend yourself against dishonest influence attempts.

In 2017 he also introduced a seventh universal principle named as unity.
