I was looking at the review ratings of ING Vysya and was surprised to see good rating. I can guarantee that those who have given the good review ratings are ING Vysya employees or so. So far personally I have never met any one who is happy with ING Vysya. Here is my story, Just like other home loan customers, I took home loan and without my knowledge they kept increasing the rate of interest. They added a lot of hidden charges and I escalated many issues to the senior leadership but no one responded.
Finally I had to take it up with RBI to get justice. When I wanted to move the loan to a different bank, they created a lot of problems. They don’t allow you to go out so easily in the sense they create a lot of problem and make you run around. When I landed in their office to finalize the loan transfer to other banks, I found nearly 6 or 7 people like me in the same boat, and all of them had gone through hell dealing with ING Vysya. when I reported the issues with ING Vysya to RBI, one of the guys from ING Vysya even called me and threatened me. I could have gone to the police but I had already lost half of my energy battling with them. They charge huge hidden penalties while moving out of banks.
Lesson learnt, even though it is bit pain ful to deal with Govt banks, it is safer than banks like ING Vysya or ICICI.
