I invested in ING Private Asset Management in 2011 when the NIFTY was around 5000. I chose "Very Aggressive" as my fund management class since I am relatively young, earning and could afford to take some risks.The brochures were great and the promises seemed real with real stories (which I know now are fake or extremely selective).
However, almost 3 years down the line, I am extremely disappointed with the performance under ING. Today the NIFTY is 7200+, so even though the NIFTY has grown by 40%+, I have got a return of only around 25% in almost 3 years inspite of my fund management preference being tagged as "Very Aggressive". I would have been better off investing in an index fund!!!
I have lost my faith in ING and will be withdrawing.
Don’t get sucked in by their sales pitches.
