ING Vysya home loan customer service is worst

I have taken home loan from Ing Vysya in 2006. However I would recommend the visitors to please stay away from this Ing Vysya.  The reasons are quite obvious. Read on.  Recently due to increase in intereset rated I had to prepay some loan and my EMI got revised.


So I had to submit fresh cheques to the bank and I did it promply. However when the bank’s turn came to return my cheques the customer service does not look like doing it ever. Every time I mail them they say they would do it by next monday and when I remind on monday they don’t have answer.


The higher authority directs other customer support people to take care of the complaint but nobody listens to these higher authority people. The customer suffers because of this.  Even if they send any documents to you, they send it through DTDC courier, which in 50% cases never reaches it’s destination or if it does then it takes snail’s time to reach.


The custoemer care numbers are always busy(they just keep the receiver away I feel).  The bank does not have any software(excel sheet) format of the amort chart.  Other banks do it even if you do not avail of the loan.  I gave one written complaint about the documents not reaching, 2 months before. After that there is no correspondence from the bank about anything.


When I sent personally to the bank for the amort chart, the printer was not working.(They do not have alternate printer if one fails).    All in all nothing good I could find about the home loan department of the Ing Vysya bank. I am thinking of lodginh the complaint to Ombudsman about the bank’s support.  hence I request you to keep these things in mind while taking the decision of loan from Ing Vysya.thanks, Raj
