Getting a Refund is a real pain in the a$$

Regarding Order - 100162535

  1. On 4th 2012 feb - I placed an order(100162535) for M sized shirt - later realized the size of the shirt is wrong - called their customer care and they said they cant change the size once order was placed - so their people advised to cancel the same and place a new order. This is CANCELED order.

  2. On 4th 2012 feb - I placed another order(100162553) with right size. This is a COMPLETED order.

  3. I was informed that amount will be refunded within 48 hrs. I waited till 14th feb which is almost 10 days time. NOTHING happened.

  4. After realizing that they are completely clueless when left on their own, I called and spoke with a guy named Sanjeev - he gave me full confidence that the REFUND has been initiated and I will be receiving my money in my account within 2 days. NOTHING happened as usual.

  5. I called their customer service yesterday again and I was told to contact my bank - which I eventually did only to find that NO REFUND was seen in my uncleared amount.

  6. Today morning I called their customer service again and was told that I need to send them the statement of my account showing two transactions?! If thats the case, why I was not told in first place when I called 13 days back? why there is bizarre discrepancies among their service executives?!

  7. Now, the really interesting part started when I called their customer service again to speak with Sanjeevan over-promising and an under-delivering whiner.he gave me a transaction number .which I have no clue what it is(4422317271420450).and told that the refund was processed and contact my bank again.

  8. I promptly contacted my bank again and gave them the transaction number. They told me a different story that this number has no purpose and nothing can be done with it. They require ARN number which is of 23-DIGITS. They further asked me about the mode of transaction they follow for refund and more blah blah full of technical jargon which I don’t have any idea. Furthermore they said that if the refund was ACTUALLY done, it must be automatically reflected in my account without any manual process or investigation.

I am completely stuck between a CLUELESS INKFRUIT.COM and RELENTLESS CITIBANK.

EVERYTIME THEY ARE TRYING TO EXPLAIN ME THE BACKGROUND PROCESS WHICH I DON’T CARE OR NEED.

I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK IN MY ACCOUNT WHICH WAS APPARENTLY CANCELED 13 DAYS BACK

I am really tired of getting juggled between them and my bank. Are they trying to play fool with customers?
