Have you ever played Pictionary?
It’s a game where a group of people get together, words or phrases are written down, put in a box and each person gets a turn picking a paper from the box and trying to draw the word or phrase without using words and having the other people guess what it is.
Well, Inklink.com is the online version of the game.
I happened to find it one day while going through Bored.com, it’s one of their newer sites.
It is quite slow in loading because it loads through the Shockwave program. But once you are there, you sign up for free, choose a name you’d like to use and you’re ready to play.
You get to choose from dozens of different rooms of players. From the beginner to the highly experienced expert rooms.
Your mouse is used to draw the pictures. There is a color pallatte to choose the colors you draw with also.
The screen shows you what word or phrase you have to ’’draw’’ for the other opponents to try and guess. You can use the hint button to either give or get a hint to the answer.(CHEATER! don’t use it, it’s more fun!)
You can skip your turn if you really don’t think you’ll be able to draw anything even 1/2 way looking like what it should be.
It’s really fun! You don’t have to be an artist!
Here’s an example of one I used the other day:
Phrase...Fried Egg
I drew a circle, then changed to the color yellow and drew a smaller circle in the original circle I drew....no takers..next I drew a chicken, and everyone knew the answer!
The points add up for each correct answer. Sadly, there are no prizes..but it sure is a lot of fun.
