Rubbish & waste of money

I used mouthshut’s reviews and decided to visit innovative


film city but now I feel that these reviews are unreal and probably they have


been posted by the innovative film city itself!(reviews here seems to be like


a scam!) because my experience noway matched the reviews here.


I really doubt if any normal person will pay a second visit to this dirty place


or even recommend this to someone else(unless the person is his close enemy).


On the whole it’s the worst place any person can chose to


lose his money and spoil his holiday.


I visited IFC on 25-Jan-09


(Sunday), the rush was so heavy that we spent up to 5 Hrs in Q’s and fighting


with their staff out of the 8 Hrs we stayed there!(Truely Innovative)


They charge 250% of what their real worth is.                  The Quality and behavior of their staff:


We had to stand in Q


for 20 Min’s to get our food coupons in the food court and when we pay him to


get a chance to place the order, his answer is “Please go to the respective


counter and check the availability before placing the order” i.e., he wants us


to go and enquire about the items availability and waste another 20 Min’s in


the Q(They are so ill-equipped that they even don’t know the availability of


items).


He finally issued


the tokens after scolding him and we went and placed the order after which we


had to wait for 20 Min’s after which we were told “Sorry, the food is over


please buy a token for some other item”


When we went back to


the counter and asked to refund our money there was an Innovative Twist, he


could not refund it which means we have to pay for the food that we didn’t have


(All this when we were really very very hungry)!


This answer of his


and the way he talked to the customers made us all really angry and the people


there got inside the counter from backside and were about to hit him when


somebody came and intervened and asked him to refund the money(Must be his


lucky day, people would have broken his bones if the other person had not come


to intervene in the fight).


We then complained


about all these things to a manager there Mr Kiran, he was the only person I


saw there who gave value for the customers and apologized for the inconvenience


caused. He asked us to give a written complaint and they would take the action


against the concerned person. Did we go there to enjoy our holiday or to give


written complaint against their stupid staff?


After all this we


took a buffet of Rs100 which was so rubbish that **I felt the food given to


prisoners in jail would be better than what we got.** We were not able to eat


it and had to just throw the food, **today 4 out of 16 cousins of mine who had


that food are suffering from indigestion.*


INNOVATIONS:


1) Mirror Maze:


Waiting Time In Que - 20 Mins.


Time spent inside - 2 Mins.


Ticket Rate: Rs 100.


Its Actual Worth: Not more than Rs 30.


Innovation: The purpose of Mirror Maze is that we have to search our way to


exit but the staff at the exit opens the door just after 2 mins and shows us


the way out!


Reason: Heavy Rush!


2)4D Movie:


Waiting time: 25 Mins(Depends on the next show timing & your luck)


Movie Duration: 10 Mins.


Ticket Rate: Rs 100(Rs 10 per Min).


Its Actual Worth: Rs 50.


Innovation: Movie is good but the rate and the waiting time leaves you


frustrated.


3)Ripleys Believe it or not:


Waiting time:


Throughout the stay inside(Have to move in Q throughout)


Ticket Rate: Ra 100


Its Actual Worth: Rs


50


Innovation: This one


is no less than a fish market, you have to literally fight your way to just


take a look at each items there, its very suffocating and frustrating inside.


4)Gokarting:


Waiting time: 1 Hr


Ticket rate: Rs150


Innovation: After


waiting for 1 hour in the Q, it was about 7.15PM(Closing Time) and it was closed, we had to


go back without trying it after waiting for 1 Hr. The staff there does not have


the common sense at least to tell the people standing at the end of the Q that


it was closing time, we got so angry but we came back just because we didn’t


have the energy to fight with them after waiting in hot sun all the day to see


their innovations!


5)


Aqua


Kingdom


:


Ticket Rate: Rs150.


Its Actual worth:Rs50.


Innovation: A pool


not more than 5ft in depth and a pool DJ to play music for people in the pool,


the person who dances the best will get a chance to dance on stage or some free


gift!


6) Miniature World:


Ticket Rate: Rs50.


Its Actual worth:Rs0.


Innovation: They


have kept some children’s toys(Car, Train, Airplane etc) with a water falls


and we have to pay Rs50 to see them!(true innovation to cheat people).


7)Wax Museum:


Could not cover this


as we didn’t have time which is obvious after standing in Q’s for such a long


time.


There were other


museum’s and things like that which were really not worth more than 25% of what


they charged for it and we couldn’t even cover many of those due to lack of


time.


When we were


returning back cursing these people for the wonderful place we again met Mr


Kiran at the entrance who apologized again and when we asked the reason for


such unorganized situation,


His answer was: Heavy


and Unexpected Crowd.


My question to him:


Why didn’t you limit the intake and stopped issuing the tickets after the


people increased to a  certain number?


For more money? Not a bit bothered about customer satisfaction?


Anyway he asked us


to visit again and he promised that we would not face any such problem when   we


visit the next time.


Thanks Mr Kiran, but


I’m really not ready to take the risk and step into that hell again!


In the rarest of


case that any genuine IFC customers have an experience very contrasting to my


experience or IFC wants to know more or have something to say about whatever I


have written here.
