Innovative Film City

Yet another place to chill over the weekend in the outskirts of Bangalore off Mysore road in Bidadi.

Best way to reach from South Bangalore would be to take Kanakapura Road and get on to NICE road to avoid the ring road traffic.

Limited car parking is provided outside the campus and is not paid.

Good place to spend a full day.

Entry fee is Rs. 50/- and you need to pay separate for each of the attractions. Rs. 100/- extra per still camera and 200/- per video camera

As you enter the campus you encounter empty shopping mall with no shops yet except for Bata which I think is recently opening.

Some of the attractions are:-

Mirror Maze - worth your money

Ripley’s - good stuff but most of things were shown on AXN

Tussuad’s - average

Gokarting - Rs.  200/- for 6 laps. Good fun if you go in a group. Expect long Qs over the weekend.

There are family carts too which are priced at Rs. 150/- and good for a small family. I have seen kids driving these wheels.

Food Court - Good choice of veg & non-veg, South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and Tandoori options which are reasonably priced. There is MacD coming soon.

You have couple of Coffee Day express outlets and popcorn vending machine all around.

There is Funplex similar to Amoeba with games for all ages which can be operated with a pre-paid card.  There is a 4D cinema which is worthwhile watching.

There is miniature city which I have not seen though but was told not really worth.

Dinosaur park and Fossil world - Good for children to know about different dinosaur species.
