Worst multiplex

I had been thinking of penning down a review since last three years about this multiplex. Ironically I always end up watching movies at this place only and then discover myself repenting over my decision of coming there.

Fact that this multiplex is just 5-10 min walk from my home makes me go there. I always think that common, I must be exaggeration with my negative views. After all how bad it can get? But very soon I get the reason behind my negative views. And it has happened multiple times :(

Let me put forth everything in points:

1> No value for your money. Rate of tickets is in comparison with the best in business in the city, but when it comes to ambiance and quality; even the small town local movie halls might give Innovative multiplex a run for their money!

2> As in case with other multiplexes, Innovative multiplex charges more on weekends, but while others have discounted prices of tickets for shows before shows before 12:00 pm, Innovative multiplex doesn’t follow the suits.

3> Many times you don’t get the original receipts(They provide you advance receipts) and these guys get away without paying taxes (Even though the ticket amount includes that!)

4> Seats are not of good quality taking into consideration the amount they charge. And moreover it is not specious inside. About picture quality, I don’t have any specific positives or negatives to talk about in , but sound quality is certainly not upto the mark.

5> I should have mentioned this as the first point. Nonetheless, it fits here as well. Let’s talk about the entry to screen area. Entrance to the screen lounge is very narrow. If show starts at 7:00 PM, they let you in by 7:05 PM (Has happened with me many times). When they signal people to get in, you virtually need to push your way inside to clear that bottleneck at the entrance. Crowd management is so poor that it can lead to stampede on any day. Definitely not safe elderly people, children and females; specially for females with many perverts lurking around. It might not happen in every show, but at least in the ones which attract a bigger crowd.

6> Same story for the exit which is at the rear end of the multiplex.

7> Food offered is of very low quality and high price. One samosa costs Rs 30 (small size. Don’t know how it tastes, never tried). One small glass of cold drink (max 150-200 ml) costs Rs 40. Cold drink is definitely diluted with God knows what. It tasted like bleaching powder last time I tried it. Even the popcorns smelt like they have been put in water and then dried. They were smelling :(

8> Staff is very rude. Once I went to watch ’My name is Khan’. Per ticket I went to screen # 4 and discovered some Kannada movie was being shown there. When I went to ticket counter seeking an explanation, they were not cooperative and wasted 15 more minutes before giving me correct screen ticket (I should have seen that Kannada movie only, ’My name is Khan’ was not worth taking all those troubles :)

9> You will not find any proper place to sit and wait in case you reach a little early.

10> Parking facility is pathetic with vehicles being parked outside on the road.

11> Please don’t ask me about the toilets. But take my advice and use it at your own risk.

Did I miss anything? I will add in the comments if I have. My advice, instead of going to Innovative Multiplex, rent a DVD of the movie and watch in your home. You can spend the rest amount on eatables and snacks :) I too have started to imbibe this habit.

So essence is: SAY NO TO INNOVATIVE MULTIPLEX.
