Wanted to write a quick review of INOX at Garuda Mall bangalore. It sucks. The highly film going bangalorean is treated like an idiot in this so called EXPERIENCE theater.
Been there last weekend to watch ’’Memoirs of a Geisha’’.
1) As like other theatres, they charge your weekend tickets 3 times the actual week price.
2) Next they say its CLUB class ticket and you end up sitting right in front of the screen in the first row. And while buying tickets you are embarrased with a speaker in front of you. That helps no better as you say every other counter also blaring at your face. So you are more embarassed.
3) Third you are not supposed to get in with FOOD from outside. but only get the OVERLY priced poor food inside. Never enforce such rules which will hit hard on the consumer. I cannot afford to throw Rs 300 worth of food outside and buy food again for Rs 200 inside. If you start forcing things, people may not turn again.
You should have a USP for your organization. In particular for entertainment, people come for relaxing themselves though they are ready to pay the humongous price for a movie.
Rs 170 for a single person!!!. You can now deduce why DVD/VCD market is so thick and running good. Give the user the experience he wishes for the kind of money he is ready to pay.
