I have always been a movie buff and watch at least 5 movies a week. My frequent getaway for films is the Fame Lido multiplex. Its affordable and as the size of the auditoriums being large, one can easily get tickets during weekends and holidays. There is also the convenience of online booking. But to my dismay I recently found the ticketing staff forcing patrons to go for combo offers while buying tickets. I was forced to pay an extra Rs.60/- for a Popcorn and Pepsi along with the ticket cost even though I told them I was not interested. They told me that it was a package that I had to accept it if I bought a ticket.
The staff are trying to hoodwink the customer with this kind of practice. The owners of this multiplex should remember that such acts would bring disrepute to their brand and people would refrain from visiting them. I hope the owners take corrective measures before it is too late.
