A nice, funny yet heartwarming story

This is one small humourous book that will probably be recommended to you by friends, sooner or later. It is the story of Gopal, who goes to the US to study chemical engineering and is bewildered by the country.

The language of the book is easy to read and humourous. The letters by Gopal in his not-so-perfect English are not only funny but also present a different perspective on the country. His initial enthusiasm on the technology, the people, the girls and the language, slowly ebbs away.

He is desperate all through the book to find a girlfriend, but ends up heart-broken. He starts missing home, India. However on the flight back home, the author ensures that he finally does find a girl.
