As I have interest in the modern, contemporary architecture, space planning, new product ideas, I normally go for such thematic magz.
There are other magz like Indian Architecture, Interiors which dwell upon the similar themes. This mag is oldest of them getting published from the stable of Business India group of Publications.
The IO has various sections such as cover story, News, International, Designs, New Products, Interviews etc. The mag is full of photgraphs in colour and each feature takes thru’ the logical explanation for each of the selection. The articles are based on actual visits to houses, institutes, offices, hotels , entertainment zones and thus lends credibility. Most importantly it does not glorify the riches rather it focusses on the layouts, colour schemes, space saving tips, etc. One can get to know finer nuances of achitectural philosophy, lighting, ventilation, vaastu, vegetation, gardening etc.
The new product ideas are useful with proper contact details.
One thing that misses out are the budgetary estimates for doing such lovely things. even sometimes the total area is missed out. These are imp points when one looks at the renovation/refurbishments.
