Lucky me. My son works for a company that works indirectly with INTEL in Hillsboro, Oregon, he gets certificates each month to spend on INTEL products. So being the nice Son that he is, he got several cameras and gave one of them to me.
The INTEL, Easy PC Camera is the one that I have attached to my Compaq computer, It is a lot of fun to play around with. You are only limited to the distance that you can move this camera. It has to be attached to the computer in order to work.
The INTEL Easy PC Camera is a snap to install. You load the software into the computer and then plug in the camera. You must load the software first, in order for this to install correctly. There are different functions that you can do with this camera. I will explain them each.
Capture Video, you can capture video and then edit it frame by frame with the software that is provided on the cd. This is a lot of fun. The bad thing is that if the video is too long, the file is too big and you cant send it over the Internet. Most places have a cap off of what size your file can be and this will exceed it. You can make short videos. If you have a regular Internet connection and not a cable connection this can take a long time to upload to the Internet.
Snap Shots are the easiest to do and the easiest to upload to the Internet or into your email. Since the file size is smaller. You can take your favorite and upload them to any of the photo sites that are on the Internet. These are easy to take since you actually capture the moving image and make a snap shot out of it. If you don’t like the way it looks then you simply delete it and don’t keep it.
Video Phone calls can be made with this camera over the Internet. It can do several different things and is lots of fun to play with. It comes with a 6 foot cord so that is how far the camera can go There is also a quick start guide that comes with the camera that can get you started and tell you what to do.
The camera has an adjustable lens to change for different light. This camera works best when there is bright light. In darker light it is harder to make adjustments to the images. You can buy this camera on Ebay for much less then what you will pay for it in the store. In the store they sell for between 35 and 45.00.
