Got the connection arround April, 2016. Technician connected and showed me the speed immediately, 37 mbps for G-Storm with FUP 360 gb apparently??.
Overjoyed, poured a glass of coke for the technicians. 28 hours after connection, 7 mbps. Called customer help desk and the person who answered just told ill call you back and disconnect the call, didnt even take the user ID or any details of the problem.
A day passed by, and called again. Same guy answered and took the ID but could not find me in the system. Had to provide my biography until he finally found me with the same user ID I had given him 30 minutes before during the beggening of the call. 3 Days later the technician comes checks everything and again shows me 40mbps and leaves ( this time no glass of coke) .
20 minutes after he leaves the speed goes down to 5-7mbps. Now I lost hope, called every other internet provider but no other provider for my area, still! ( J. P Nagar 8th phase)
Struggled! I work online and apart from paying these dacoities, I had to recharge 4gb from time to time ( well every week actually) .
Its a monopoly market they are running here in my area. And I will pay double for anyother internet provider airtel and act. Oh Act how much I miss you.
Bottom line, If u have an alternative please dont ever try to even spell gbroadband.
Its run buy dacoties. Theyll loot you till u realize that the sadness in your life is because of your internet connection.
I am ongoing with my struggle and still seeking for even a small ray of hope for a better broadband connection.
My recent call with Gbroadband: They dont answer calls now. They have an IVR running their cartel. My call was answered by Prabhu and I was in urgent need of internet as I needed to send some huge files to clients, he told me the connection is out because there was a maintainance run going on in my area and that it would take 20 minutes. The poor Prabhu didnot know I waited 6 Hours to call them. Anyway when I told him that he said how come and put my call on hold, he came back after 15 minutes informing that the connection will come in 10 minutes. I told him ill wait, he again put me hold stating that he will contact the manager in my area and after 3 minutes of thier crappy wait tone he just disconnect the call. My condition: Blood pressure high, eyes red and was about to poke holes in my phone trying to redail but I forgot its an IVR. Called almost 50 time and logged tickets with the IVR. Lost faith in humanity and used 4G again to submit the work thats just enought to pay my monthly 4G rescue.
Ratings? Ratings are given for products or services. This is a complaint for Looters and modern day DACOITIES. Sad as a consumer we have no rights in India against these kind of drawbacks because the cops in these areas are paid by this kind of DACOITIES.
