I have been a customer of G Broadband for over a year now. And not a single month (actually a single day!) passes without connection issues! Stuck with them purely because there is no other connection available in the area.
Speeds are totally unreliable and the connection randomly stops working (sometimes for 5 mins, sometimes for 5+ hours). No amount of restarting the router/switching WI-fi on-off on my phone and laptop helps (this means it is not a laptop issue as all internet devices at home stop getting connected). THIS IS HOPELESS WHEN YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF FILE TRANSFERS. And then it suddenly starts working again. But if you have to reach their customer care, WISH YOU GOOD LUCK!!
As a customer, it is I who has to follow up on paying their ’prepaid’ bill. All they do is send a reminder email but their website does not even have a proper log in function and ability to track prior renewals etc. And despite paying bills on time, the internet disconnects on the renewal date. This has to be followed by endless attempts to reach their customer care and shout at their unprofessional service, give them your transaction ID and prove you have already paid for the renewal. If you are lucky, internet will again start working for you within a day’s time.
Even otherwise, reaching their customer care executives is A REAL PAIN with their lines going UNANSWERED most of the time! I mean, least you can do is PICK UP the ringing phone and LISTEN to your customer!! If you do reach them once, they will offer to call back giving some excuse and THEY NEVER CALL BACK!! It’s like they are just not interested in you or their own service.
I am fed up with their unreliability and unresponsiveness. It seems they are arrogant enough knowing the fact that there are no other ISPs in the area. Hence this negligence!!
Would NEVER recommend this service to anyone. Totally annoyed and frustrated.
