Im using Iqara broadband in pune for past 2 months. Earlier I had applied for tata indicom and I had a very bad experience with it. I just could not get the connection and timely response. Finally I made a stop payment request for the cheque I had given to Tata and moved to Iqara.
Even though there was flood situation in Surat (Iqaras head quarters), these people were able to start my connection in 12 days time. From that day I did not have down time of even 1 second. I always found my connection working that too with good speed. I wanted to change my modem for the support of RJ45 as earlier modem was supporting USB connectivity. I sent a request to Customer service dept and in 4 days time I got a new modem. You can also track your usage online which updates on hourly basis. Im completely satisfied with their service and connection speed. I would recommend Iqara broadband connection.
BUT I suggest you to carry out a detailed survey about ISPs in your area before going for any broadband connection. The best way to do this is talk to near by Cyber cafes and ask them which connections they are using. Cyber cafes in my area gave me a good feedback about Iqara and BSNL but very bad feedback about tata indicom. Also if you are going for Iqara, then initially please select lowest available package available. Later you can always upgrade to higher package if you are satisfied with the service.
