I was an IQARA subscriber for about 6 months and found it better compared to other private ISP in India in terms of speed, installation and package renewals. But, when it comes to providing technical and administrative.services to it’s customers IQARA turned out to be a disappointment.
There were at least five IQARA subscribers in our building and many more were keen to subscribe to IQARA. The power supply to the main modem installed near my house was provided by me as a friendly gesture with an understanding that they will arrange to get alternative power supply soon. After a few months IQARA approached me to sign a formal agreement with IQARA whereby I was to continue to provide uninterrupted power supply to the modem unconditionally, and I agree to certain other terms and conditions of IQARA which I found to be absurd, unfair and in violation of MSEB Regulations. I disagreed on the premise that I have no right to enter into any such agreement as the power supply belongs to MSEB and I was only a consumer. Therefore, I requested them to give me an undertaking that the power supply will not be misused by IQARA, which they refused. I also informed them in writing that the power supply will be disconnected if they fail to make alternative arrangements within a week. They never responded.
Since there was no response whatsoever from IQARA, I followed it up with their executives and also spoke to the manager concerned, on several occasions, but they chose to remain silent. After waiting for a month for their response, I had disconnected the power supply to the modem. They lost all the existing 5 subscribers including me and many other potential customers. To my surprise no one from IQARA has contacted me till date.
I am currently using MTNL broadband connection and I am quite happy with it.
