If there is going to be a new War against Iraq I thought you might like to know more about the Country.

IN THE BIBLE:
This area was part of ’’Mesopotamia’’ until the Arabs conquered it, (in 3100 BCE).
BEFORE WW II:
Iraq was part of the Ottoman Empire. After WW I France and Great Britain divided the Countries in the Middle East. Iraq came under the British Mandate.
During WWII they were a ’’neutral’’ Country, (but supplied Germany with Arms), until four days before the War in the European Area ended.
AFTER WW II:
Iraq became an independent Country in 1958. It is called the Republic of Iraq and the leader is Saddam Hassan.
Bagdad is the Capital City. There are almost 30 million People who live here.
The Religions:
Muslims:
97% of Iraq are Muslims. 50% are Shi’is and the rest are Sunni, (Saddam Hassan is a Sunni).
The Kurds:
The Kurds who all live in the northen part of Iraq are Shi’is, Sunni and Jewish. They have their own problems because some of them want their own Country while others want to become part of Turkey.
The Dimi’s:
Dimi means ’’protected People’’. This means if you pay ’’protection money’’ you won’t be hurt and can have a small Business, (usually a Market Stall). They make up the other 3% of the populations. Today most of them are Christian.
After the hanging of 3 Jewish Doctors in the main Square, (it was terrible to see because below the 3 hanging Men the People were singing and dancing), because the were accused of poisoning the water supply. They never had a trial.
The Jews of Iraq began to leave and what was once a flourishing Community has only two Families. Each Family has their own Synagogue and they are always arguing!
IF YOUR ENEMY IS MY ENEMY WE BECOME FRIENDS:
Who Armed Iraq? During the War between Iran and Iraq the United States, Great Britain and Canada, (etc.), were on the side of Iraq. They helped to arm the Miliary of Iraq.
The Chemicals and Germs belong to the United States but they were developed in an underground Bunker near Medicine Hat in Alberta, Canada.
In the 1950’s a Canadian by the name of Gerald Bull designed a huge gun called “Big Bertha.
His name was Dr. Gerald Bull and he was a Canadian Researcher. He was paid over $10 million Dollars from Canada and the United States to build it.
On the side he sold his Guns to China, South Africa and Iraq. Canada ended his project and the CIA in the United States arrested him. He went to Jail. After he got out of Jail he went to Europe and was murdered in Belgium when he was shot in the back of his head.
Iraq still has at least 3 of his Guns. The Inspectors from the United Nations aren’t bothering with them because they have nothing in them.
These Guns could be filled with Bombs, (that had Germs in them), in a few minutes. They have a range that could hit every City in the Middle East as well as Greece and Cyprus.
Until recently Momar Kadaffi of Libya and China continued to ignore the embargo.

Sean Penn, (the Movie Star) and three Families, (from the USA), who lost their loved ones in the bombing of the two Towers in NYC when to Iraq to visit with People who lost loved ones during the ’’Bombs over Bagdad’’
DO I FEEL THERE SHOULD BE A SECOND WAR WITH IRAQ:
Saddam has said that if Iraq was attacked this would start
WW III
I pray that Saddam would resign and go live out his life some where else. I know that this won’t happen but praying can’t hurt.
I hope that the Muslim Countries can negotiate with him. I know he won’t listen to them.
I know that the United Nations is still looking for Weapons in Iraq. I predict they will find enough for a second War to happen.
That would be sad because the regular People of Iraq are forced to support this evil Man, (he has murdered his Father, his Son-in-law and anyone who apposes him).
When they lose a loved one they cry and morn them like we do. I wish that there was some way to protect them but I don’t think there is.
Sadly there will be a War before the Spring. This War is not about Oil and Gas because the Tar Sands in Northern Alberta, Canada has more Gas than all of the Countries in the World combined. The link to the Alberta Tar Sands:
