Hey MSians. D very first time I had a chance to book around 12 tickets for all my friends using IRCTC, as our trip for my close friends brothers marriage scheduled to happen in comin May. To be on a safer side we booked d tickets couple of months before itself. I really hate to stand in "Q"s, infact started telling to many of d known friends to use the E-booking, which ofcourse saves all our time.
Such an excellent website developed by Indian Railways, very user friendly & checking availability, get to know the routes & much more. Kudos to government fellas.!
Im writing tis review to let d other ppl know the uses of Internet Banking & E-ticketing. Well most of us know tat we need to have either a credit card or a bank account with Internet Banking(most of d commercial banks do have net banking to save the customers losing their valuable times).
To use d IRCTC services we must have an Username & password, which is ofcourse easy to create jus login to https://irctc.co.in -> it asks for an Username & password, below tat column ud find sign up link -> else go by tis address
http://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/services/register.do?click=true
by clicking tis link ud find d registration page for an individual to register. Jus lyk creating a mail id:) when all d mandatory fields are filled up ud get an individual id & password. It is advised to give ur correct address for communication, when u book d tickets to be delivered thru courier.
Then after getting registered urself or logging in, ud find the some of the options like:
Plan My Travel, Quick Book & much more.
Get to know each & everything slowly then ud be able to get the tickets thru the options which u selects.
