IRCTC NEEDS SOME SERIOUS IMPROVEMENTS

Most of you guys must have used IRCTC to book your railway tickets a lot many times. But I personally did not like this website much. I have had some very bad experiences and incidents with IRCTC.


The service and support provided by this website are awful. The employees do not reply most of my emails sent to them when I have any queries related to the website.


Once I was booking a railway ticket from IRCTC, but at the very last step of confirming the website stopped responding and crashed immediately.  My money was deducted from the account but no tickets were booked. Then, I had to write a number of letters to the head of IRCTC. I got my money after 6 months of continuous emails and messages to the authorities of IRCTC.


Now, talking about the website, it is very slow and unresponsive. You have to wait a lot to book a ticket. Also in order to book a ticket, you have to go through a lot of steps and confirmations which take a lot of time.


The information/content provided on the website is also not in real time. IRCTC must work on this aspect.


The website does not provide any offers to their regular customers, which is not the case in most of the other apps available in the app store.


So, overall I hope that the authorities of IRCTC work upon these defects and make their website more stable and easy to use.
