IRCTC is a website of the Indian railways that gives the user the access to information on train timings and ticket bookings.
This website has helped in booking the train tickets sitting at home and without having to stand in a queue of the booking counter or having to pay extra for the service.
This website also helps track the PNR status of the booked tickets and gives information on train and its seat availability on the date of your journey.
This site needs to improve as it loads slowly and has lots of details on the first page which makes it very confusing to the first time user. It needs to optimize the pages.
Also its sessions expires very quickly and user needs to log in again and again which makes it really irritating. The limit on number of times you browse for trains in limited for a single session and we need to login again. The app and website is not synchronized thus we cannot view the bookings done from app in the website and bookings done from the website cannot be viewed from the app.Basically this website has its own pron and cons but with little improvement it is really helpful.
