I think it’s all because this site has been developed by engineers blessed with the great indian quota system. I really doubt the credibility of the designers of this most pathetic web site. What exactly is irctc doing with all the money it’s earning by millions of tickets being sold? Can’t they invest something back to make this a more pleasurable experience? IMHO, the software is not that bad, it’s the hardware infrastructure. Please allow some juniors IIT-ians to work on this as a summer project. They’ll ensure that the performance of this website improves manifold. IRCTC bosses: you guys are stuck up, absolutely pathetic. Go back to schools. Railway officials: less the better said about you guys. Bloody money suckers.
