Hi,
just want to share my experience with irctc recently,
a case related to delivery of railway tickets.
I had booked a ticket through irctc on 12th July
for a train scheduled for departure on 17th July at 7.20 pm
The tickets were not delivered to us till 6 pm on the
day of travel! We decided to cancel the trip.
At 6.20 pm the overnight courier guy came and delivered
the tickets! Upon asking the reason for delay, he said
the tickets arrived in Pune on 14th itself but he couldnt
deliver it for some reason!
I took up this matter to irctc and sent a mail to
care@irctc.co.in IRCTC followed up the matter with
courier guys and refunded the full amount of the ticket
and apologized for the inconvinience caused to me!
All this happened with just 2 email from me to irctc.
