I think the main cause of IRCTC being so accused, is money. IRCTC earns loads of money through advertisements and “tatkal fare”, and that approximates to around 1.8 crore (according to some blog). One of my friend’s suggested me an alternate https://irctcalternate.com and that’s really helpful during tatkal booking. Even if IRCTC spend 5% of it every month to upgrade their servers, no one would face any problem in booking ticket during tatkal.
