Irfan Pathan
Irfan Pathan, the new speedster in the Indian cricket team, is a master piece in bowling excellence. Yes, at last India has got a bowler on which it can have faith in. Though young, Pathan is learning quickly. He is able to judge his bowling. He knows the good and bad of bowling. The plus point of his bowling is that he does not concentrate more on fast bowling but prefers to keep his line and length correct.
Pathan made his debut against the world champions Australia. To defeat Australia was not a piece of cake and especially when the match was played in Australia. Our bowling was not very strong. It was badly damaged by the Australian batsmen. So it was the time for a bowler which had enough potential to check the Australian batsmen. Hence, there arise our new hero, Irfan Pathan.
Pathan, with some bowling tips from legendry bowler Wasim Akram, bowled extremely well in the test series. Though he did not come up with much wickets, he did his job of checking flow of runs. In the ODI, we saw some part of Pathan?s power of an excellent bowler. Many people were taken aback when they came to know that he was the highest wicket taker in the ODI series.
We saw the real Pathan in the India?s tour to Pakistan. Here his bowling excellence had no limits. His bowling was getting better and better after every bowl. His bowling was great in the ODI series and was awesome in test series. There was no man in the Pakistan team who didn?t fear his bowling.
Thanks to Irfan Pathan. Pathan calculated the mistakes and bowled there to help the player to leave the ground. The Pakistan batting line-up crumbled in front of our bowling attack. With the Indian batsmen blazing with their bat and bowlers throwing grenades, the Pakistani team feel like dead leaves from the tree. The conclusion was inevitable. Pakistan lost both the test and ODI series.
So, the world came to know about Irfan Pathan. An Indian bowler to be feared of! This only the beginning, as time passes, Pathan?s bowling will strengthen. He will become one of best bowlers of India and might even become an all-rounder.
