I loved the scent of this soap when I first took it out of the package. I stepped into the shower and lathered up, bathing all over with it, and loved the thick, creamy bubbles.
And then I rinsed and got out.
Within about 15 minutes I was covered all over with a rash, and was itching as if someone had rolled me in nettles!
I couldn’t get the soapy film off me and I felt like my skin was on fire!
I’ve tried soaps before that left me feeling as if they didn’t quite get me clean, or left a residue, but I have never ever had a reaction to something like I did this stuff. I don’t even know what it is in the soap that made me react that way, but if I had to choose between Irish Spring and not bathing I’d just invest in clothespins for all my family!
