I was on board to my flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi to Hong Kong International Airport in mid of August 2010. I was getting bore as travelling alone . To spare time started looking through the flight magazines.
From the movie guide section I caught an information that Iron Man2 is being premiered on flight entertainment . I was amazed and excited to realized that the movie was available in front of me. I am a fervent fan of Robert Downey Jr. and Iron Man franchise.
It was a delightful opportunity for me to enjoy this great movie to get the best out of my time. As I missed the chance to catch it up during its theatre screening.
I tuned to the channel where the movie was airing, The movie started and the next two hours were one of my greatest flight leisure experience. The movie picks from where its predecessor ends.
I had expected much more from its sequel as I really fond of the first part and had watched it several times . The movie really picks up well as the enthralling action-packed sequences, the influential performances from Downey Jr . , Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell and Don Cheadle make this stylish flick an enjoyable ride.
The movie delivers what it promises the more action, more adventure and on top of the most its powerful script.
Cast
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man has taken away the show with his unique way of portraying the main lead. The move solely belongs to him.
Sam Rockwell is one of my most favorite actor his work in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and The Moon is commendable. As defense contractor Justin Hammer he has done a fair job but couldn’t get much as it’s a complete Downey Jr. movie.
I loved the fantastic performance of Terrence Howard as Lt. Colonel James " Rhodey " Rhodes in ‘Iron Man’ and was expecting him to reprise the role but Don Cheadle has delivered a brilliant act in the sequel though I missed the sparkling performance of Terrence Howard.
Gwyneth Paltrow has been better than ever, she played the ‘Pepper Potts’ in new role of CEO of Stark Industries beautifully .
Scarlett Johansson has been wonderful and beautifully portraits as Natalie Rushman Special mention to Mickey Rourke who played Ivan Vanko, delivered his role brilliantly as an anti-hero and a genius scientist.
As obvious without a great enemy a great hero can not be recognized. Mickey played a wonderful character and makes the movie worth a watch .
Script
As promised the movie has a firmly coupled script with the wonderful flavor of adventure and style .
Effects
The move comes up with many exciting effects and visuals , it’s a nice treat to watch.
Cinematography
The movie is brilliantly made and creates an amazing effect on the screen.
Recommendation
It’s a wonderful treat for all Downey Jr. and Iron Man fans and can be enjoyed with friends and family .

On top of all it’s the magic of Downey Jr. which shines as a metaphor for this action flick. His stylish way of handling the character of Tony Stark could have never worked without him.
As my flight crossing the speed of 500 mph the action and adventurous sequences make my experience a thrilling and exciting voyage ever.
It’s a wonderful watch and every time you watch you’ll be completely entertained, believe me as while returning back after 1 month form my business tour I again enjoyed it. Waiting eagerly for the third installment of this series and also the cameo of Tony Stark in The Avengers.
