Well you enter the theaters with a lots of expectations after watching the previous two Iron Man movies and you basically go in to watch what the makers have done so that its better than the previous two.
The movie starts in the year 1999 when Stark was arrogant and didnt give a damn about the world, during the new year eve he manages to buzz off two geniuses played by Guy Pearce and Rebecca Hall back in 2013 there is The Mandarin( Ben Kingsley) who with the help of Aldrich Killen(Guy Pearce) would like to destroy U.S. But the one mistake that The Mandarin does is to hurt Happy Hogan( Jon Favreu) the ex bodyguard of Iron Man. So how he takes revenge makes up for the rest of the story and there are of course few twists and turns some predictable some not.
The action sequences are terrific look out for the scene when The Mandarin takes out Stark at his home and of course the climax where you are might jump out of your seats in more than one occasion.
Now coming to the performances almost every character in Iron Man 3 has two shades and every actor has made sure that they live up to the character. You know actors like Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, Rebecaa Hall and Don Cheadle would do justice to their characters but when they are sharing screen space with RDJ you dont even spare a look for them such is the charisma and the charm that RDJ has. RDJ is one of the best actor with some great movies under his belt like Chaplin, Tropic Thunder, Sherlock Holmes series, The soloist etc but he will always be remembered for his Iron Man series for the sheer energy that he brings to the screen. Gwenth Paltrow is just about okay but she does look fantastic and Paul Bettany as the voice of Jarvis does leave an impression.
Overall Iron Man delivers on what it promised its bigger and certainly entertaining.
