Waterfalls are always scenic in monsoon. I visited this place last week when it started raining heavily in karnataka. Its a great weekend destination for me. It took me 4 hours journey from bangalore to reach here. There are hotels available to stay.
The waterfall is beautiful and kind of aloof from the crowd. The fall is beautiful and breathtaking. It has spiritual aspects so shiva devotees visit here often.
When I visit it was on full verge and roaring. The white waters were falling in straight line and making huge noise. The area is spectacular with lush greenery.
Although it is dangerous to go to the fall. So I avoided and just watched it from a distance. It is a great weekend gateway if you are staying in bangalore or mysore.
