I do not agree that adult movies should be banned on television. If adult movies are banned what are the adults going to watch - cartoons. No, no please don’t get me wrong. By meaning adult movies I don’t mean porn stuffs.By adult movies I mean adult emotions and thinking.However we cannot stop the infiltration of SX in adult movies, **a word still seen as a taboo in Indian culture. As we all know that in India, T.V. is the everyday source of entertainment and is being watched by people from all ages and all cultures of the society. Exposure to something which is too early for their age could have great impact on the innocent minds and we definitely don’t want our children to grow before their age. We want our children to enjoy their childhood to the fullest.
I propose that the channels should be blocked so that anyone and everyone cannot view it. I am very happy with the pay system channel that has come into existence. Here we can order our program. By this the parents can keep a check on the type of information and programs that are viewed by their children.
By banning adult movies on television we are just taking away the rights of an individual to view the stuff of their liking and choice which is not right. Life is not black or white but also has grey shades which we see in Adult movies and gives us a more matured understanding.Hence I propose that Adult movies should not be banned on T.V. but only should be blocked for adult viewing.
