Ishq is a masala movie. It has got all the Indian Masala from Comedy to tragedy.. from songs to fight... from romance to drama... anyone can like such a movie. But don’t (PLEASE DO NOT) try to figure out anything meaningful in the story / plot.
Two pairs, in contrast to each other... one is a cool, loving and sentimental pair (Ajay Devgan and Kajol) and the other one is dramatically quarrelsome, impulsive and still loving (Amir Khan and Juhi), are in the highlight. Both of the pairs get into a misunderstanding and are tore apart by the negative characters.
The movie enjoys the first half being a action comedy and the second half is a tiresome tragedy.
The performances are good. Specially, Amir Khan and Kajol. Ajay Devgan does not suit for Comedy part. Juhi Chawla is evergreen.
Overall the movie is a time-pass to be seen in a mood to kill two and a half hours.
