This is Issaq!?

If we look at the Cinegoer today and the changing mindset, acceptance of realism, socio-economic changes, characters de-glamorized , and stories which are not stereotyped. It doesn’t need to be Switzerland anymore and you can show Kiss without disturbing flowers and the Garden. In lieu of all this if still an attempt is made for something as disastrous as Issaq- where even the story was supposed to be a Romeo-Juliet adaptation and the rushes told one, that here comes probably a superior adaptation like Omkara.

The Kind-hearted soul I try to be since I know how much blood and toil it takes to create a Cinema, I tried to keep it in a category of Spoof and “Maybes”- Maybe now we’ll see Light, Maybe now Evelyn will realize that the Accent and the Face expression Stinks of a Misfit, Maybe finally Prateik Babbar will show some skill he showed in “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”. Alas! What we see is a sub-standard slipshod between some Good music, and once-in-a-while-picturesque settings. Disasters start failing the viewer and its stretches to a limit, where one shudders with the fact that what effect this movie shall have on William Shakespeare (For once I really did not mind the Gurjar-Buoys crowding around my seat and literally dissecting the movie, did give some respite and some laughs). Meanwhile one person to definitely watch out for is Makrand Deshpande, because finally the Sad Spoof breathes when he’s around!

Editing and Adding: Amyra Dastur, I did hear that Accentuated-I-am-Trying-Really-Hard Act, this is NOT an Animation Movie.

Two words for the Director- Well of course Dil, Dosti Etc was Trending but Etc cannot be coded as a movie.

Who Has Written the Movie and Why?- Do Not Try to Find Out since it will sound Vague(considering the fact that Credits commence with Romeo-Juliet Tribute).

Why Watch the Movie?- For the same reason that I went, Packaging was Great! They had Sub-let the work of Promotions to a Great PR company and then Left it to God.

Why Do Not Watch the Movie?- One needs to Explore that On their Own, the Touch and the Feel of Sub-standard stuff err Shoddy work

Why Am I still Here and How did I last through it?- The Scene of making out Oops going out next to my Seat was so very Interesting

Rest- Whatever!

Note:Does anybody remember Jaani Dushman, Well Well
