Came across iTokri through the’People Tree’ page on FB. My cause for instant attraction to this website was that finally I could buy People Tree stuff, sitting good 2000 kms away. On exploring further, I discovered that they have tie ups with similar stores and initiatives like Jalpari and Dastkar. Good, I said to myself and began browsing!
They have just started out because of which even though they have tie ups with all these stores their collection is quite limited. I’m sure things will improve over time.
After 20 minutes browsing, I finally settled for a Canadian Leaf earring from Jalpari, a Dokra Necklace and a Juda pin from People tree. It all came to Rs.449 and they have free shipping so no extra costs involved. Not a big order to start with but nevertheless I wanted to give it a try. I placed my order on Oct 2nd and received it on the Oct 5th. Being an avid online shopper, I’m used to waiting weeks and months for my order, so much so that I even forget about them over the period of time. iTokri’s promptness matches the likes of Flipkart and Jabong and that I guess is a great achievement for a start up.
When I opened my order, I was in for a surprise and I’m still beaming as an after effect. All the items were neatly packed and along with that there was a hand written note about my surprise from Jia. I was really touched by this gesture. I’ve been shopping online for couple of years now but till date I haven’t received anything like this. Thanks a ton for this one! You made my day:)
