Roshan Andrews and James Albert has come out with a clean family entertainer. The plot deals with the land mafia about how they eye on a farmers land to sell it to a businessman who is interested in a private resort at the said land. The story is all about how the land broker tries all ways of hook and crook to corner the farmer and make him drive to a point where the only option is to sell the farm land.
Mohanlal as a farmer has come up with a convincing performance. All the supporting cast have done their role well. The three heroines (Priyanka, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy & Lekshmi Rai) has meaning ful roles unlike the usual heroines who usually plays the love-interest of the hero or dutiful housewife. Lalu Alex as the anti-hero is superb with his antics.
The love of Mohanlal towards his farm and animals could have been conveyed better. James Alberts script is goodIn the second half, while showing the various malpractises involved in the land transactions, it slips into a kind of documentary in parts, though its not boring.
Its definitely worth watching and these kind of films need to be encouraged.
