Sidenote: I am writing this review based on my experience when I used it several years ago. The product formulation may have changed so take this with a grain of salt.
Personally I found this soap very irritating. It totally dried out my skin and made me itchy and this was a time when I would use this in the hot and humid days. It smelled pretty good but that is the only positive I can think of. Honestly I could care less if a bar of soap floats. The thought of me sitting in dirty bathwater doesn’t have much appeal to me. Now if I was taking a soak, that wouldn’t be much of an issue, since I usually take a quick shower to remove any gunk.
In my opinion, this bar is better suited as a laundry detergent for certain delicate fabric, provided that the dyes doesn’t bleed when water and soap comes into contact with it. In fact I use it as such to pretreat some stains. I cannot advise anyone to use this on a baby. It is too harsh. Might as well bathe your little one in acid.
