The only reason I used Ivory was because I found it under my sink... I’m not quite sure how it got there, but that’s besides the point. The first thing I noticed about the soap was its ashy texture when dry... I’m not quite sure how I feel about that, I just thought it was weird.
When I lathered up it smelled very fresh (baby powder etc.), which was nice, but it was a bit strong for my liking. The only real problem with it was the fact that it left my skin VERY dry, I had to put lotion every where I used it, and I don’t have dry skin either! I have been using it for more than a week (not because I want to... I’m just cheap...), and every time I try and use it I can’t get it off my bath tub... It sticks! I have had to yank and yank... but it doesn’t budge.
Long story short... only use this product if you have very oily skin, love slathering yourself with lotion after every shower, want a work out, or like stong smells.
