JIS is kalyani’s top private engineering college. Its course fees are like other private colleges in West Bengal.
But the level of education is not satisfactory. Also it ranks much lower among the private engineering colleges. Though all streams are available here but neither the faculties nor the alumni are of renowned fame. Furthermore it fails to provide good quality jobs. Hardly 30 to 40 students get good jobs every year though at a very low annual salary.
