Fresh Kool n Breezy Entertainment..........

I happened to see Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa finally on this Sunday ..after returning twice from the movie hall empty handed on a weekday because of back to back full house shows running for the film.......

I must say in the past few years I have never had problems of non availability of tickets for any Hindi films since the time these multiplexes have started running multiple shows back to back for a film…

I was surprised to see so many full house shows for this film even in its second week… I already had good expectations from the film because of very good feedback from people on this film….

So I finally got a ticket for Sunday evening show and my ticket was the last one for that show another house full, xpectations got even higher….

So the film started and in the initial 15 mins I was wondering what is so great about this film n y are people raving about it so much. I thut the reason wud be scarcity of good Hindi films these days.. but Later with time I really got hooked onto the film and started enjoying it thoroughly…..

The first scene of the film opens with friends at the airport narrating a love story to one of the girls whos new in the group in their group who happens to be an air hostess and is frustrated in life for all Obvious reasons.. :) no offence meant to anybodies profession... the first scene reminded me of  SRK’s Chalte Chalte and wasn’t shot too well I mean the camera was shaking too much but I am sure its an experiment done by the director though I wasn’t enjoin it so much…but I held on n was waiting for sum excitement to happen..

so they introduced our hero Jai Sing Rathore(Imraan Khan) in the film with a dream and he rushes to the hospital to meet Aditi (Genlie d souza) …there is a suspense element created by the director for the hospital scene but I was easily able to guess it before they reveal that  it’s a cat who has died in the hospital ..So again I thought nothing new…but its allrite....

Then there is the catchy song Kabhi Kabhi Aditi…which is again shot in a filmy way…but I didn’t mind it off course it’s a film….

N the story starts progressing and it keeps you gripped with loads of moments which make you laugh n smile throughout the film and u suddenly get engrossed in the film and you start enjoying it so much…

And the interval happens at the right time you have smiled and laughed enough to like the film by then..

After the interval it gets even better and when its over you simply love the film and come out of the cinema hall fully entertained on a Sunday evening…….

Now a little detailing on the film…

It’s not great story but yet a Great screenplay…..Great Dialogues….Great Music. Great Direction.. Great Casting. Very good performances…..and so the viewer is entertained..

The lead pair which is Imraan and Genelia are apt for their roles and all points to Mr.Abbas Tyrewala for the casting...

On Acting part I really liked this lad Imraan Khan he is very good... though he is a little raw at some places but with time he is going to be a perfectionist just like his Mamu..Imraan is a very good looking guy acc to me and the best thing is his cool and casual attitude throughout the film. he never really tried to act or become stylish like a hero he is just like the character like any Bandra boy and he impresses the audience with that..

I have rarely liked any of the new guys coming these days but Imraan has become my fav amongst all the newcomers for his natural style casual attitude n not so bulging biceps look…all the newcomers these days look more like a Gym Instructor than an Actor…..Imraan is apt for the role and is a natural actor and has all the essentials of becoming a Star….

Genelia is someone I never liked in her previous films which are Masti and Mere baap…..

In this film in the beginning I realized that Hindi seems to be a problem for her…and she openly seems to agree to it ...and to my surprise doesn’t want to work on it either.. as I heard her saying in one of the interviews that I don’t understand Hindi so don’t talk to me in Hindi and bug me to the interviewer. ...well she needs to understand speaking in Hindi and at least understanding it is very important in Bollywood..So she should take up Hindi classes may be from Katrina Kaif..lol….no may be a good tutor….

She’s is a next door looking girl and that is what was reqd in the film. so she’s so very apt for the role so Genelia gels well with everyone and evrything in the film…but her future depends on the projects she does..

All the other friends suit the role very much including the air hostess at the airport...

Jignesh and Rondu are also very impressive and are perfect casting. There are 2 other girls also they are also very good….

The funniest part for me was loud n slapstick Arbaaz and Sohail there scenes were rib tickling I was surprised to see them in such a role but they suited it so much that I feel they should make a branding in such roles…totally loved their performance….

The film has some veteran actors in small roles like Paresh Rawal and Naseer bhai and RatnaPathak Shah they are like the support system for the film as everyone else in the film is new….

One of the most impressive actors in this film is Amit (Prateek Babbar) whos late actor Smita Patil and Raj Babbar’s son…he is so very natural in front of the camera ...his role is also very well written... he can turn out to be an actor to look for in the future..

Manjari Phadnis (Imrans Girlfriend in the film) looks good and acts well for her role.I feel she looks even better in real life than what she looked in the film…another point is that minimal makeup is used for all actors in this film which is good for such a subject…Manjari can come up very well in the future I have a gut feeling for her..:)

Music is very good and suits the mood of the film…

Abbas Tyrewala is the main person behind this film and the film essentially belong to him he deserves all praise and accolade for this film…I am sure he willl give us more n more such entertaining films in the future…..

In the end totally nice kool n breezy entertainment don’t miss it for sure………loved it……

:)cheers
