Boring, not happening, No life in the movie. Totally unenthusiastic movie. This is my reactions on seeing Jaane tu this weekend and that too in one of the most pathetic multiplexes in Bangalore(Innovative. I don’t know whats so innovative about this place).
OK the theme is good and movie will be a dissapointment because I don’t think it is that young and happening. Only good thing about the movie was its music and other good point is that it is not that loud.
Story line is simple friend circle, 2 caring for each other, falling in love, cannot express their feelings till the end and finally realizing when the heroine is about to take a flight and our hero runs to airport till the boarding point(YAWN. give me a break). Some of the one liners may make you laugh, but that too were very common and used many a times in many hindi movies. Second half is a total bore and you will feel sleepy as I did.
Performance wise yes Imran is great, Genelia, sorry to say though she has great screen presence and a CUTE loking face, but she is not up to mark when it comes to acting. The guy who acts as Genelia’s brother has delivered a real punch, great performance from him(he is Smita Patil’s son). Nasir, Ratna Patak and Paresh Rawal excel in their performance. Ballu and Bagherra brothers(Sohail and Arbas) are the only people who make you gigle everytime they come in the screen.
Not worth a see. maybe timepass movie
