Usually I am a very neutral person and when it comes to opinions I do not call a film good or bad just because I enjoyed it but I take in to account the professionality of the movie and try to acnoledge the good and bad points before making such a dicision, but yesterday (29th oct) I watched the most boring and lame film in the history of my film watching life.
CONS
The film moves very uneasily and does not allow you to get into the film or feel for the characters due to the awkward plot and script of the movie. Sometimes you feel you are in a dream as anything and everything that comes up is ellaborated and this left me bored to death.
The film relly messes up your emotions, when something is supposed to be funny, it actually is sad and vice versa, its hard to explain but I basically I mean that the script while trying to be clever does not actually work.
The film is also very stressfull, there is only one storyline and very few characters and seeing the same faces throughout the film leads to even more boredom. Side characters in ’usual’ hindi film normally comedians have the role to liven up things but nothing of the kind in this film.
The plot was weak and the storyline was so lame, so much that you have to watch it to understand the lameness. Salman Khan did not make any mistake, but throughout the film ther was reference to it 100 times when he seriously made no mistake. all we heard was that ’ab me mere bachoun ka khyaal rakhoun ga’ or ’tune apne family ki kadr nahi ki’. I was crying for salman all the way throughout the film.
There are a lot of loose ends and unanswered questions. For example why did prities brother hate salman??? and where did shortie vanish off to???
PROS
I am very regretfully having to say that there is hardly anything gud in the film but if I was being forced to by the edge of a knife I would say that Akshay was good like usual and there was good use of special effects and there is no nudity so gud for families. And yeah some of you may like the songz.
FINAL VERDICT
In short if you want to watch the film in cinema be prepared to be bored and numb at the end of your worthless 3 hours. However on the contrary if you beleive me you may want to watch the film to see how bad it is (or how good!).
i really dont understand how so many of the other reviews are so positive, everyone I spoke to hated the movie!!!
