JaanEman's Music didn't meet any of my expectation

Anu Malik the master ofplagiarism, this time hasn’t come up with anything that I can specifically tagas “inspired”. When I heard the flute’s great melody and my eyes were enchantedwith the pretty Priety Zinta in the promos on screen I was mezmerized. Thealbum in total has 10 songs with 3 remixes and one song version 2. About thefilm I sense it is a twisted story. Seeing the 2 foot Anupam Kher and theamazingly awkward Akshay I don’t know how the film is turning out to be. Aboutthe cover it is good but I don’t know any place where there is heart shapedbars and fireworks are lighted free.

Thealbum kicks off with the track “Hum Ko Maloom Hai” , initally when theflute’s sound entered my ears in the promos I thought that Anu Malik this timegave exceptional music that he can accomplish once in a blue moon. But to mysurprise the the 7:21 minute song was a total waste. Except of some points, hehas commercialized a gem of melody in an unacceptable manner. Another point Iwant to make is how can Gulzar give such low class https://lyrics. The person who gavelyrics like Saathiya and other great hits has put English words like dad, mometc etc which is used for the foot-tapping 4/4 numbers by Sameer. The life ofthose foot-tapping numbers is just months but Gulzar’s lyrics alone can make a song go forever. Ihave many complains about the instrumentation which do not blend, in the middleit seem you are listening to another song. The second track is “Jaane Ki Jaane Na” another typical AnuMalik number, with classical instrumentation. Here also Gulzar’s effort is notadmirable. In both tracks singers have done a impressive job. Versatile Sonu’svoice is just mesmerizing but the music, composition and arrangement do notsupport the master. Then we have “AjnabiSehar” brilliantly started with the flute. Here we can feel the good lyricsof Gulzar. Instrumentation and melody is good, I think Anu Malik has done histricks well in this song.

Attrack 4 we have, “Sau Dard” thistrack on the whole is very good. The singers Sonu and Suanne have vocalized thesong very amazingly. Lyrics is exceptional, the melody is hummable and sticksto your head instantly. The pace of the song seems to be slow but the feelingsare well portrayed by the singers. It is the only soothing song in the wholealbum. Then we get “Udh Jaana”, herealso we have the conventional Anu Malik dance number. Loud, no judgement inmelody just enough to make you cause a headache. Yes here also, the singers AdnanSami, Ganjawala and Sunidhi Chauhan stand out. Music by Anu Malik is in no waysis matching the level of hard work put by the singers. Next number is “Kabool Kar Le”, here we have a set ofsingers Udit Narayan, Rahul Vaidya, Amit sana, Prajakta Shukre, Monali Thakur and Suzanne. Everyone knows too many cooks spoilthe broth. The mix Indian Idol + Indian Idol 2 contestants + Professionalsingers + pathetic music of Anu Malik + English words by gulzar = a hell of asong. I don’t know what this song wants to convey. The melody is a thing of thepast in this song and the days for this song’s popularity are numbered.

DjShane is the next big thing. He has given life to the almost dead songs withcool remixes. In no 7 we have “Jaane KiJaane Na Club Mix”. This is a eminent foot tapping danceable number. It hasthe 4/4 beats no doubt but the music easily overshadows the bad music andunacceptable lyrics for the legand. After it we come across, “Sau Dard Groove Mix” again DJ Shane. The flute is the best instrument I hear in songs, flute is exceptionally wovenwith the cool beats. This music goes very well sync with the gripping voice oftalented Sonu. Then we have “Udh JaanaBRO Club Mix”. I don’t know who is whose brother. The music is not that good as the above two songs but thesong is still groovy. Singers voices here also stand out in the loud byappealing music. Last and the worst we again have to go through the intolerable“Hum Ko Maloom Hai II” musically andlyrically. I don’t see much differencein the first and the last track.

Allin all I don’t recommend this album. This should be a very thought afterdecision to purchase this album. The promos are illusive, you hear one thing inthe promo and get an unbearable 7:21 minutes long track with unexpected https://lyrics.I don’t expect that I’ll like the songs as I listen to it because in very fewAnu Mailk albums I had this sensation. So buy this album at your own risk.
