Itni saari ummedeen, hui thodi hatasha; kabhi nahi bhulunga, yash ji ka aakhri tamashha. Jab tak hai jann, jab tak hai jaan.Though most of u have already seen movie and rated it very high, I still thought I should share what I felt.
I went to theatre with lot of expectations (his last, Veer Zarra is a marvel); may be It was wrong on my part to expect a similar love story. First half is totally karan johar type where great shahrukh wins rich kudi and make her fall in love. Some how that love bonding was not convincing (like veer zaara, DDLJ and DTPH). First 50 minutes into movie, 3 songs, some love scenes par mazza nahi aa raha.
Shahrukh is seen making a typical intense face gesture in whole movie (with his lean body), not sure what he was upto. Music is not that great, songs and story don’t connect at all. 2nd half though started on a low note, movie picked up eventually and had a good climax. Songs also supported script.. Thankfully something good to write about this movie.
Katrina has acted well and she did justice to her role. Anushka was falling short of clothes and acted in her typicall style(band bajja types), shahrukh was not required in this movie (he looks old and unfit for role of military guy). He is a great actor, please utilize him in some good project..
In all one time difficult watch for me and u decide for urself.
