Jab We Met, directed by one of the finest director Imtiaz Ali, is one of the best romantic films of our time. It is a cute little movie with its own verve and charm. Starring Shahid Kapoor as Aditya Kashyap and Kareena Kapoor as Geet Dhillon has a fresh storyline, soulful music by Pritam, engaging screenplay and outstanding performance by Kareena Kapoor and her very cool and ethnic dressing sense. This movie has everything that requires a film to be a blockbuster.
This is one of those movies which I can watch again and again without getting bored. Dialogues are very original and have a fresh feel. A very hatke lovestory which blossoms after the funny train journey from Mumbai to Bhatinda. The fun moments in between the journey are very well picturised. The songs of the movie are the soul of this film.
For me, Aditya’s character was the best in the movie. He is smart, funny, shy and well-mannered. The way he smiles to himself by watching weird antics of Geet. Shahid was so good in the film.
The length of the movie works against it. Apart from that everything is just perfect. No mistakes, no flaws. It is mushy mushy, it is silly and not to be taken seriously kind of movie. It is perfect date movie. Sit back, relax, munch on some popcorn and enjoy this RomCom! Must watch
