Sachhi mucchi main achi movie hai yaar, God promise! I mean, I was looking at the promos for this film, and these two chora chori seem to be having such a great time, that I thought Id take a break from my monsterous routine and go for a ride. The Scene opens on a sad, lonely, tragically serious Shahid, and only when you think its going to get disappointing, thats just 10 seconds later, only when you picture Kareena in the screen, then thats when the ball starts to really roll. Let me elucidate:
Acting wise: I think Kareena Kapoor stole the show. I know many women cant stand her, I dont know why really, shes so stupidly adorable. If you see her in this role, its so perfectly acted out, that I dont see why anyone would not like her. She is a girl next door, ek dum dhammal. And very natural indeed. Shahid, is someone whos expected to be the man of the hour, and he is, the sweet young lad, you want to take home to show your parents. He does his job well.
Plot wise: This movie, doesnt really have a plot, but its more like you seem to go with the flow. Laugh a little, smile a little, and yes, theres plenty of space for guffaws as well. Oh boy, if you like a good movie, and you need some fun thrown in, this ones thrown the gauntlet of fun in for a good measure!
Songs: Badiya hai! No complaints AT ALL. Man, when the songs come on, just watch Shahid. Hes got more energy than Hrithik Roshan, seriously. He makes me wanna dance, and I did a lil jig while sitting in an encumbered seat, at Gaiety. Damn, I was short on cash, and I had to see it. Thank god, I did, so I can tell you how awesome this movie really is!
Real deal: The dialogues
I am sorry, but I dont know who the screen writer or the dialogue writer for this movie was, bhai, tuney to kamaal kar diya! This movie has some really good punchlines, its funny because all dialogues and lines fit perfectly, if it slides, I dont know if it does, coz, its been made really well. Some scenes are definately unforgettable, it will tug at your heartstrings, when you see it. Its because, its a love story and love stories tug at your heart, they are just as complicated as they come, and they leave you with a smile, and this one steals the cake at those.
Watch it for pure enjoyment of your soul, if youre one of those people, who dont really care if a girl says " Chamaat, Teri Maa ki or Saali" this film also has a wonderfully shot innuendo, that got my Gaiety/Galaxy audience in splits, what the hell, I shared the laugh with my mom:)
