I am very familiar to jabalpur as I did schooling from there.It is famous for dhoonadhar waterfall and bhedaghaat for marble rocks.The best day to enjoy nature’s beuty in Bhedaghaat is on shard poornima. on this day there is big fair in bhedaghaat and most memorable thing is to do boating in full moonlight on sharad poornima with marble rocks around you. You can purchase good things made of marbble rocks from here. Be aware of monkeys here. few ancient temples are also there.The best season to go is between october march.
Other places to go around jabalpur is india’s largest national park kanhakisli, amarkantak from where narmada river erupts and joteshwar dhaam in gotegaon which is 3 hours from jabalpur.For those who are very religious can got to gwarighaat, lamheta ghaat and tripur sundari.one thing I don’t like in jabalpur is irregularized traffic.for purchasing you can go to sadar.
