Whoever had read or wrote good about Jabong, in my opinion were fortunate. For any system to work professionally, it needs processes which cannot be overlooked by people who are part of it. You make any process, which makes it human dependent, are prone to inefficiencies of particular individuals and as humans we all have varied degree of inefficiencies. So, if you have had a great experience with Jabong, you should think, you are lucky.
Hearing about Jabongs service delivery efficiency and their customer centric processes, I ordered for around 7 products on their site. I received the first lot very quickly but there after Jabongs unprofessional side got exposed.
Couple of products I ordered had to be returned because of size issues and again it is not my problem and I ordered for correct size but since every manufacturer doesnt follow the same standard, there were issues. Jabong confirmed the availability of the products I reordered and I also received a confirmation saying the products I returned, PASSED their product inspection team. I also got courier tracking number for one of the products. But after couple of days I received a communication from Jabong saying the second product cannot be delivered because of quality issues.
Though I was disappointed a bit, I felt these issues cannot be avoided when you are dealing with so many customers and products. But the delivery of the product for which I received the tracking number took unusually a long time to get delivered and finally I got the product well past the actual occasion, Christmas.
The credits for the other product which got cancelled by Jabong tool more than a week to reflect in my account. As Im writing this, Im still waiting for the discount voucher that was applicable for the product to reflect in my account thus Im not able to order for the next product.
1.Jabong confirms the product availability.
2.Product inspection team clears the returned products but takes unusually long time to deliver.
3.Product which has been confirmed as available has not been delivered saying product unavailability.
4.Takes at least 10 calls to get the money reflected in the account.
5.Inspite of 15 calls the discount voucher which was applicable for the product doesnt reflect in my account.
6.Inspite of me writing to Jabong Service Head Bhushan Sood, I didnt get any response.
